The Education Centre houses the Faculty of Education and consists of two components - Education South (1962) and Education North (1974). Education South contains a central office tower, classroom wings, the Herbert T Coutts Education Library in the east wing, and the Education Gymnasium in the far west wing. In Education North, directly behind the high rise, are a number of unique classroom facilities.

The north side of the facility faces the University LRT Station and bus stops. From that area you can see this building huge mural, West and North, by artist Norman Yates.
